About the role
- Work with distributors and/or partners to support end-user clients on services contract renewal business
- Build and manage a sales pipeline aligned with growth strategies, executing upsell initiatives within the installed base
- Develop proactive renewal plans and manage opportunities through to closure
- Communicate the benefits of HPE services and solutions during the selling process
- Apply services and solution knowledge to assess client environments and identify opportunities to extend current business within accounts
- Manage escalations across the distributor and partner account base
- Collaborate with internal teams and channel partners to deliver business results and support sales strategies
- Enter and manage opportunities within Salesforce CRM
- Participate in business planning activities with leadership and cross-functional teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (technical, business, marketing, or finance discipline preferred)
- 3+ years of professional experience in a related field
- 3+ years of quota-carrying or telesales experience with demonstrated success
- Experience within the technology services, IT support contracts, or contract management industry preferred
- Understanding of sales processes within the IT industry
