About the role

  • Using your expert understanding of category products, business management and sales challenges to influence strategic direction.
  • Actively contributing to the development of the category business plan and long‑term growth strategy.
  • Building strong relationships and representing the category team with senior stakeholders across Sales and partner organisations.
  • Taking responsibility for a significant portion of the product range or a defined customer segment, including tracking performance and revenue delivery.
  • Leading functional areas within the team such as market analysis, marketing engagement, salesforce communication, or similar.
  • Potentially leading a subset of the team or overseeing engagement with one or more sales teams.
  • Managing key relationships with external IT vendors as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Typically 8–12 years’ professional experience across Marketing, Sales, Business Planning or similar commercial disciplines.
  • Experience managing Consumer or Commercial Partners, or End‑User Account Management exposure.
  • Strong knowledge of the IT industry and its dynamics.
  • Advanced business planning skills, with the ability to manage complex models and reporting.
  • Robust financial planning and analytical skills.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Understanding of promotional marketing processes and best practices.
  • Strong negotiation capability and ability to articulate product value to customers and partners.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to drive cross‑functional collaboration across sales, marketing, and supply chain.
