About the role
- Manages a portfolio of assigned or acquired accounts virtually (by phone, electronically, or via social media).
- Develops, maintains and forecasts the sales pipeline; creates and expands account plans.
- Works closely with the company's field sales, distribution partners and/or end customers to advance sales opportunities to closure.
- May generate and qualify leads to create new sales opportunities.
- Defines and executes the sales strategy for the assigned portion of accounts, territory, or vertical.
- Sells standard solutions for part or all of assigned accounts based on defined strategies and account plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, IT, or sales
- 1 to 5 years of relevant IT sales experience
- Basic knowledge of the IT industry in the Province of Quebec
- Strong hunter sales approach (hunter mentality)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment
- Basic understanding of the company's product and services portfolios
- Basic knowledge of a customer relationship management (CRM) system or Salesforce.
