About the role
- As an Account Manager you will be responsible for outside sales, new business development, and account management with assigned accounts / customers.
- Manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery, with travel up to 80% of the time.
- Increase sales revenue and profit dollars by identifying potential new accounts and soliciting orders through personal sales calls.
- Foster sales relationships with target accounts.
- Prepare, submit, and interpret periodic reports on activities, sales volume, and expenses.
- Attend and participate in sales meetings and training programs; represent the company at trade shows, conventions, Chambers of Commerce, and professional associations.
- Stay abreast of major environmental regulatory changes and industry trends.
- Manage and control sales expenses and ensure the timely submission of business expenses.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (required); focus within sales, business, marketing or science (preferred).
- 3+ years of proven industry related sales experience (required) -OR- In lieu of degree, 7+ years of proven industry related sales experience (required).
