About the role
- Provide financial analysis and support for manufacturing operations, cost accounting, and operational efficiency initiatives
- Analyze production costs, conduct variance analysis, and identify margin improvement opportunities across manufacturing processes
- Support budgeting and forecasting for operational departments including production, supply chain, and logistics
- Monitor key operational metrics and provide financial insights to optimize resource allocation and performance
- Implement cost control measures and track savings initiatives to improve operational profitability
- Collaborate with operations teams to develop pricing strategies and evaluate capital investment opportunities
- Prepare financial reports and analysis for operational decision-making and performance management
- Work closely with operations teams to drive profitability and efficiency in a manufacturing environment
Requirements
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience with focus on factory cost accounting
- Minimum 3 years of ERP experience
- At least 4 years of overall experience with a strong background in cost accounting and product analysis
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial data analysis
- At least 2 years of experience as finance business partner to manufacturing, supply chain, and/or sales & marketing team
- Exposure to Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau
