About the role
- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial activities for the HPR business
- Manage a high-performing team
- Ensure critical deadlines are met while providing ongoing training and coaching
- Lead team in the generation of a timely and accurate month end close
- Liaise with leaders to provide an efficient inventory accounting function
- Develop accounting workflows
- Lead team to develop variance analysis explanations
- Responsible for maintaining an effective internal control structure
- Collaborate with Henry Schein partners on foreign exchange related initiatives
- Oversee all internal and external audit engagements
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting and analytical processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA preferred
- 7+ years Controllership/Manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of inventory / cost accounting
- Experience leading virtual teams
