About the role
- Serve as a visible, front-line representative of Heath’s Safety Department in the field.
- Act as a positive role model for Heath’s safety culture, values, and professional standards.
- Promote and reinforce a “Safety First” mindset across all levels of the workforce.
- Support front-line supervisors and managers in meeting Heath and client safety expectations.
- Provide real-time safety guidance and intervention to prevent incidents and injuries.
- Deliver new hire orientation programs in assigned areas of responsibility.
- Ensure new hires are effectively introduced to Heath policies, procedures, expectations, and culture.
- Facilitate Operator Qualification (OQ) training and evaluations in accordance with client and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain required certifications on client-designated OQ platforms.
- Administer, track, and document OQ training and testing.
- Conduct GREET inspections and other field safety audits as required.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and client safety regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 4-year college degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years safety experience or equivalent.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Power-point, Excel and Word.
- Must be able to efficiently and effectively communicate via email on computer and phone.
