About the role
- Performing various cleaning functions/services throughout the Hospital and annexes.
- Understanding and following Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) guidelines.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to interact well with others.
- Ability to retain information which is of a confidential nature.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt readily to fast-paced situations.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, twist, lift and reach continuously throughout the entire shift.
- Ability to lift approximately 25 lbs/11 kgs.
