About the role
- Provide timely and strategic legal advice to colleagues on a wide range of legal matters (contracts, client matters, privacy, etc.)
- Conduct legal risk assessments and provide recommendations to colleagues on potential risks and opportunities
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to the firm’s operations and develop compliance strategies
- Advise colleagues on legal issues, compliance requirements, and best practices to promote a culture of risk management
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing
- 3-6 years of experience practicing law in-house or at a law firm
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, legal research, and decision-making skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with careful attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and curiosity
- An appreciation for, and understanding of, the importance of client confidentiality
