Accountant

• Manage accounting functions including cash management, payroll accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Perform monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and consolidation and reporting
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, company policies, guidelines, and internal controls
• Support Director of Accounting and other operational leaders as needed
• Prepare monthly reporting packages, quarterly reporting schedules, and consolidated trial balances
• Prepare quarterly consolidated financial statements, monthly account reconciliations, and other financial schedules
• Record intercompany transactions, confirm balances, and coordinate with intercompany counterparts
• Prepare and process quarterly cash settlements
• Prepare ad hoc IRS filings, business and property tax filings, and governmental data surveys
• Prepare clear, accurate monthly financials for property owners and reconcile bank statements
• Help build annual budgets and forecasts and support property managers with financial information
• Answer questions from owners and tenants and perform ad hoc projects as needed
