About the role
- Lead electrical system design for new builds and renovations
- Act as assistant project manager, managing schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Conduct field investigations, code reviews, and site surveys
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
- Build client relationships and help maintain our 95% referral rate
- Take full ownership of projects from concept to construction, ensuring designs are practical, efficient, and buildable
- Work on renovations in mission-critical environments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related)
- 10–20 years of experience in power distribution, lighting, and controls
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Strong skills in AutoCAD or Revit, AGI32, SKM or Easypower
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Fieldwork experience, including the ability to handle site conditions
- Must Have: U.S. Citizenship (due to government project access)
- Bonus Points For: MV (Medium-Voltage) distribution experience

- Bonus Points For: Federal sector experience (UFC, UFGS, FAR)
- Bonus Points For: Existing client relationships in NC/SC, Mid-Atlantic, or South-Central U.S.
