About the role
- Develop, execute, and maintain software test architectures and plans in support of Product Lead Strategic Spectrum Warfare
- Lead analysis, evaluation, and performance verifications of hardware and software systems under test
- Support the development of test plans, test procedures, requirements traceability matrices, test reports, test flow, and test case design and implementation
- Lead formal systems acceptance testing activities
- Present test strategies, plans, and results to internal and external customers through formal and informal reports and briefings
- Produce comprehensive test documentation
- Perform software/hardware testing, test environment development, and fault analysis
- Integrate and test systems to the software/hardware level and document testing issues and failures
- Evaluate new technologies and assess their maturity for implementation
- Sustain and maintain test environments for fielded systems
- Coordinate support across multiple PEOs and PMs
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
- 10 or more years’ experience in test engineering
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experienced in engineering aspects of system design and functionality
- Experience dissecting system function(s) for application in system test(s)
- Demonstrated engineering skills and capabilities to implement and execute comprehensive system testing
- Experience in integrating and testing and analysis of embedded processing systems to the software/hardware level
- Experience in communications systems, software languages/software testing, networks, network security, power systems, antennas, RF, and/or mechanical design and analysis
- Experience with requirements analysis and verification
- Experience in developing test strategies, plans, reports, and test documentation
- Experience with software testing methodologies and tools
- Experience working collaboratively with government personnel, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Excellent organizational, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work in office/field/lab environments
- Willingness to travel up to 25% to Army and contractor locations within CONUS
- Position is contingent upon candidate’s ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position
