About the role

  • Develop, execute, and maintain software test architectures and plans in support of Product Lead Strategic Spectrum Warfare
  • Lead analysis, evaluation, and performance verifications of hardware and software systems under test
  • Support the development of test plans, test procedures, requirements traceability matrices, test reports, test flow, and test case design and implementation
  • Lead formal systems acceptance testing activities
  • Present test strategies, plans, and results to internal and external customers through formal and informal reports and briefings
  • Produce comprehensive test documentation
  • Perform software/hardware testing, test environment development, and fault analysis
  • Integrate and test systems to the software/hardware level and document testing issues and failures
  • Evaluate new technologies and assess their maturity for implementation
  • Sustain and maintain test environments for fielded systems
  • Coordinate support across multiple PEOs and PMs
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
  • 10 or more years’ experience in test engineering
  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experienced in engineering aspects of system design and functionality
  • Experience dissecting system function(s) for application in system test(s)
  • Demonstrated engineering skills and capabilities to implement and execute comprehensive system testing
  • Experience in integrating and testing and analysis of embedded processing systems to the software/hardware level
  • Experience in communications systems, software languages/software testing, networks, network security, power systems, antennas, RF, and/or mechanical design and analysis
  • Experience with requirements analysis and verification
  • Experience in developing test strategies, plans, reports, and test documentation
  • Experience with software testing methodologies and tools
  • Experience working collaboratively with government personnel, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work in office/field/lab environments
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% to Army and contractor locations within CONUS
  • Position is contingent upon candidate’s ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for most positions
