About the role
- Develop and maintain the core assets that bring Harvey’s brand to life: templates, guidelines, libraries, and tools that scale across the company.
- Concept, design, and produce materials for customer stories, product launches, out-of-home, and global marketing campaigns.
- Design and evolve Harvey’s website, blog, and other digital surfaces where the brand shows up.
- Create visual systems and assets for presentations, social, and thought leadership to ensure consistency and impact.
- Design event collateral, signage, and physical touchpoints that extend the Harvey identity into real-world spaces.
- Work closely with marketing, product design, engineering, and leadership to align brand and business goals.
- Uphold a high bar for design rigor; give and receive feedback to ensure every output meets Harvey’s standards.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of brand design experience.
- A portfolio that shows mastery of typography, hierarchy, color, and form.
- Strong communication skills, able to clearly articulate design thinking to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience across a range of mediums: web, print, digital assets, video, and more.
- Proficient in various design tools. We mostly use Figma.
- Ability to flex to new software quickly (e.g. jump into Jitter for one-off project).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment where you won’t always have the luxury of time.
- Adaptable to changing priorities and managing ambiguity.
- Willingness and ability to commute to our San Francisco office 3 times per week.
