Marketing Operations

• Create and maintain HubSpot templates, playbooks, and automation frameworks to scale marketing programs efficiently.
• Develop and implement marketing automation strategies aligned with business goals and best practices.
• Build and maintain marketing campaigns and key components including managing campaign data backfills, creating HubSpot workflows, forms, and pop ups, and building WordPress landing pages.
• Pull all send lists for email campaigns and build and execute email nurture campaign workflows in HubSpot.
• Build HubSpot Inbound Lead Scoring to prioritize sales' outreach and maintain HubSpot Lead Alert allocation to provide rapid marketing insight visibility to the sales teams.
• Troubleshoot and update HubSpot/Salesforce sync to improve process efficiencies.
• Evaluate HubSpot workflows and inbound data tagging for inefficiencies.
• Manage marketing data quality, tagging, lead lifecycle, segmentation, and compliance (GDPR, CCPA).
• Standardize and document marketing campaign processes and HubSpot workflows.
• Implement, manage, maintain, and troubleshoot marketing technology (MarTech) platforms.
• Manage the marketing technology platforms to deliver upon demand gen and sales team requests and needs.
• Ensure these tools integrate smoothly with each other and with sales, customer success, and data systems.
• Partner with Demand Gen team to update MarTech processes to match market changes.
• Manage campaign data flow and capture, scope data requirements and field mapping, and fill in operational and data gaps, to ensure our ability to track engagement and ROI across all marketing campaigns.
• Support the Demand Gen Team and Senior Email Marketing & Analytics Strategist with marketing performance reports and dashboards to track KPIs and other critical marketing metrics.
• Configure marketing reports, report types, page layouts, picklists, and other low-risk system changes in Salesforce to facilitate data and integration needs.
• Address the needs and requests of internal stakeholders (primarily demand gen and the sales team) including collecting and responding rapidly to platform troubleshooting.

• The Managing Director is primarily responsible for bookings growth, through new business and by generating strong renewal rates and expanding relationships with existing clients.
• This role will have management responsibility over Account Executives who own and maintain a territory of institutional accounts.
• Deepen relationships through our research, grants, and related services.
• Serve on the Higher Education leadership team collaborating with the heads of content, product, and marketing to deliver effective go-to-market plans, growth strategies, and reinforce a culture of success across the organization.
• Hold Account Executives accountable to monthly/quarterly goals and forecasts.
• Provide creative ideas to increase conversion rate and exceed NBB goals.
• Ensure strong renewal process that leads to high RBB returns.
• Maintain consistent volume and outreach to create ABB opportunities.
• Provide regular call support, commercial strategy, and contracting negotiation.

Content Manager

• Identify unique client needs and translate them into well-defined research requests
• Design customized research projects on various topics for Higher Education clients
• Appropriately scope and phase out complex multi-phase projects to fit Hanover model
• Manage the execution of education research projects using a variety of different methodologies by Hanover’s staff of Content Analysts and Research Associates
• Edit reports for content, structure, and overall clarity to ensure quality control
• Effectively communicate and explain Hanover’s methodologies and findings to clients
• Collaborate with Account Management staff to develop long-term relationships and to ensure client satisfaction
• Provide researchers with guidance and constructive feedback on assigned projects

Content Director – Higher Education

Account Executive

• Consult with prospects and clients to identify challenges and issues impacting education leaders
• Educate prospects and clients on solutions offered by Hanover’s unique products and services
• Deliver polished presentations by phone and in-person that convert interest to action
• Manage a robust pipeline of prospects and client renewals
• Accurately forecast based upon realistic opportunity assessment
• Meet challenging monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals
• Be assigned a dedicated Sales Associate who will primarily focus on lead generation efforts for but you’ll be required to do some yourself to a lesser degree at times
• Act as a mentor to entry-level Associates

• Identify Potential New Clients - Identify potential new clients whose roles align with Hanover’s capabilities
• Build Targeted Messaging - Craft custom strategic messages to senior leaders based on their history with Hanover, individual focus areas, and institution’s strategic goals
• Manage Outreach Strategy – Make 50+ calls and send 15+ emails per day to secure initial meetings and generate new business
• Support the Sales Process - Build organizational skills as you maintain a territory and help an assigned Development Director achieve annual goals
