About the role
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to understand user requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Design and document test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and functional requirements.
- Execute user acceptance tests to validate that the system meets user needs and expectations.
- Identify, document, and track defects, resolving them before release.
- Verify that new features and updates work as intended from an end-user perspective.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Provide clear, concise feedback on test results and system performance.
- Communicate with developers and project teams to resolve issues identified during testing.
- Assist in training business users to test and use the application effectively.
- Prepare and maintain test documentation for audit purposes.
Requirements
- Strong experience in user acceptance testing and functional testing.
- Proficiency in writing and executing test plans, test cases, and defect tracking.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Quality Center).
- Strong communication skills to work with business users, developers, and QA teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
