Perform exploratory testing to uncover potential bugs and enhance application performance.
Partner with the Philippines team on coordinating regression testing, squad work, and special projects, ensuring quality and completion.
Use Jira to track feature and bug status within your squad, maintaining clear and accurate updates.
Own the release process for your squad’s features and bug fixes, ensuring quality and readiness for deployment.
Act as an advocate for quality across Canopy, supporting continuous improvement and playing a vital role in maintaining high standards for every project.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in Manual Quality Assurance or a similar technical role, with strong skills in manual change-based and regression testing.
Proficient in debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving, with a willingness to dig deep to identify root causes.
Experience with tools such as Postman (for API testing), Jira (for tracking), and familiarity with Browser DevTools, Data Dog, and Sentry for backend testing and monitoring.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate with various stakeholders, set clear expectations, and represent QA’s work effectively.
Strong sense of ownership and pride in quality, recognizing the impact of your work on Canopy’s app stability and success.
Comfortable working within Agile frameworks and sprint cycles, with a desire to adapt quickly and expand skills in a dynamic environment.
