About the role
- Contribute to annual revenue goals through proactive account management and opportunity identification
- Protect and model margins through structured pricing sheets and scenario analysis
- Collaborate with Global Sourcing to optimize landed cost, freight strategy, and vendor selection
- Monitor margin risks throughout the order lifecycle
- Manage overseas production timelines and supplier communications
- Evaluate air vs. ocean freight decisions
- Anticipate production, freight and approval delays
- Navigate MOQ strategy and production sequencing
- Ensure product feasibility before presentation
- Coordinate product testing and regulatory requirements with compliance team
- Manage artwork versioning and packaging consistency
- Track UPCs, retail pricing, and labeling requirements
- Maintain structured documentation across platforms (Smartsheet, SharePoint, trackers)
- Build recovery plans before escalation
- Drive cross-functional communication across Creative, Compliance, Logistics, HGS, and Finance
- Lead action plans with clear ownership and deadlines
- Deliver proactive updates and structured milestone planning with the client
- Provide clarity in high-complexity projects
Requirements
- 5+ years in Account Management
- licensed retail experience is a plus
- Experience managing overseas manufacturing
- Comfort with margin modeling and pricing strategy
- Exposure to compliance or product testing workflows
- Advanced organizational discipline (multi-project tracking)
- Strong Excel skills with strong analytical reporting
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
