About the role

  • Draft and edit employee-facing communications across Slack, newsletters, wiki, and other internal channels
  • Assist with content preparation for company-wide meetings (All Hands, AMA sessions, team updates), including slides, speaker notes, and follow-up messaging
  • Maintain content calendars and support channel planning to ensure timely delivery of key updates
  • Format and publish communications, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with HackerOne’s brand voice
  • Support creation of toolkits and templates that make it easier for managers and leaders to cascade key messages
  • Provide coordination and logistics support for company events such as company AMAs, offsites, onsite activations, recognition programs, and milestone moments
  • Partner with Workplace Experience and cross-functional teams to ensure both virtual and in-person events run smoothly
  • Assist with recognition and appreciation initiatives, helping to celebrate employee contributions in creative ways
  • Contribute ideas to culture-building activities and campaigns that bring our values to life
  • Gather employee feedback after events and programs, and share insights to improve future experiences
  • Draft spotlight posts, employee stories, and cultural highlights to showcase HackerOne’s values and employee experience
  • Assist Talent Acquisition and Marketing with content for career platforms (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, HackerOne careers site)
  • Help curate photos, quotes, and stories that reinforce our Employer Value Proposition (EVP)
  • Support tracking and updating of employer brand content to ensure relevance and accuracy

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in corporate communications, marketing, or a related field (internships and contract work count)
  • Strong written communication and editing skills
  • Organized and dependable, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Comfortable using collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace
  • Interest in building a career in internal communications, culture, or employee experience
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive information
  • Pay close attention to detail and take pride in delivering flawless execution
  • Collaborate naturally and build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Are located within ~50 miles of Washington, DC (required question on application)
