About the role

  • Gather business requirements through deep business conversations and design end-to-end analytics solutions
  • Develop, monitor, maintain, optimise and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure accurate and timely data
  • Build and optimise data models (using Python, SQL, dbt or similar tools) to support reporting and analysis
  • Implement data quality checks and validation routines to maintain data integrity
  • Contribute to large projects such as migration to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Document data models, data transformations, and business logic for transparency and knowledge sharing
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, product, finance, revenue operations, and other stakeholders to define data requirements and reporting needs
  • Assist in implementing automations for routine tasks and data operations to streamline workflows
  • Design and develop reports, dashboards, and visualisations based on business needs
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools or process improvements to optimise data workflows
  • Provide support and guidance to other team members and help build a data-driven culture across the organisation

Requirements

  • Proficiency in SQL for complex querying, data transformation, and performance optimization
  • Strong experience in data modelling and building/maintaining data pipelines
  • Strong skills in Tableau or other data visualization tools
  • Experience with Git for version control and collaborative development
  • Familiarity with Snowflake SQL
  • (Nice to have) Experience with dbt and Prefect for building, scheduling, and managing data pipelines
  • (Nice to have) Python skills for data analysis and machine learning
  • (Nice to have) Familiarity with data quality frameworks and governance practices, including tools like Datahub
  • (Nice to have) Familiarity with commonly used 3rd party CRM, billing and finance applications (HubSpot, Salesforce, Stripe, Zuora, Recurly, NetSuite)
  • (Nice to have) Experience with collaboration platforms like Confluence and JIRA
