About the role
- New development and enhancement of our enterprise application for financial accounting, fixed assets accounting, and cost accounting
- Develop new and innovative solution approaches for business requirements using Java, SQL, and workflows
- Contribute to the creation of concepts, documentation, and specifications for our products
- Perform design and code reviews, developer tests (FAT), or create automated tests
- Maintain our solution, including 3rd level support
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of Java, SQL, Eclipse, Tomcat, and git
- Professional experience in software development (ideally in accounting — e.g. financial accounting, controlling, or in an ERP environment)
- Business/financial knowledge in accounting (preferably demonstrable through formal education such as a degree, vocational training, or professional experience)
- Interest in financial processes and value flows
- Strong teamwork skills, solution-oriented mindset, and self-initiative
- Experience working with relational databases (SQL, data modeling)
- Good German language skills, both written and spoken
