About the role
- Develop your territory by identifying new business opportunities with OEMs, integrators, and industrial customers.
- Maximize sales across all accounts.
- Propose alternative and complementary products.
- Respond to customer needs and find appropriate solutions when required.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of customers, products, and competitors.
- Monitor customer profitability and credit status.
- Inform the director of any negative trends.
- Work with the team to understand strengths and opportunities and recommend solutions to improve the customer experience.
Requirements
- Experience with industrial electrical product solutions or in a related field (automation, control, sensing/detection, motion, technical equipment).
- Strong sales skills with a proven track record of generating results.
- Enjoy being on the road and demonstrate ease in building rapport with people.
- Good understanding of the realities of entrepreneurial and industrial environments and the ability to adapt your approach based on the client type.
- Autonomous and organized, takes responsibilities seriously and delivers high-quality work.
- Excellent knowledge of customers, industry trends, products, and competitors.
