About the role

  • The Value & Access team provides commercialization strategy and market access services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and diagnostics companies.
  • Create and implement pricing and access strategies for pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device clients.
  • Work with senior staff to develop project proposals, managing consulting teams in the development and communication of client deliverables, and maintaining client relationships.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Design and manage project teams to execute various pharmaceutical market access and pricing strategy projects, both qualitative and quantitative.
  • Strong market research skills required.
  • Preferred candidates will have experience with various pricing methodologies (analog assessment, Van Westerndorp, Garbor Granger, Conjoint, etc.).
  • Design and lead primary interviews with key stakeholders such as payers and KOLs.
  • Deep experience with: Part A / hospital inpatient pricing and reimbursement for drugs and devices, Part B / medical benefit pricing, Part D / contracting.
  • Calculate gross-to-net and build Excel-based financial models to evaluate price-access scenarios and inform pricing recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, a major course of study in science, biomedical engineering, business, or healthcare policy preferred.
  • 5-7 years of transferrable consulting or relevant work experience.
  • 1-2 years of direct experience in client management and content delivery roles.
  • Experience developing, designing. and executing qualitative and quantitative market research.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
