About the role
- Lead demand forecasting for Saudi, working closely with commercial, supply and analytics teams.
- Own processes that create reliable forecasts and improve data usage.
- Chair monthly Pre-Demand Review Meeting (PDRM) and Demand Review Meeting (DRM).
- Generate baseline forecast using statistical model.
- Develop and embed a sustainable 24-month forecasting process.
- Analyze bottom-up forecasts provided by sales operation.
- Prepare templates for short-term and medium/long term forecast review.
- Develop aggregate demand plans based on assumptions.
- Ensure all major processes are documented by SOPs compliant with GSK policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in demand forecasting, demand planning or related supply chain role.
- Strong experience working with large datasets and managing data quality.
- Practical skills in forecasting methods and performance metrics (for example bias and accuracy).
- Good Excel skills and experience with forecasting or planning tools.
- Knowledge of SAP or planning systems is desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English for business communication.
