Manage Grifols' Plasma Supply Chain Operations activities associated with the receipt, distribution, storage, and inventory control of raw plasma
Direct the receipt, storage, and distribution of all raw plasma
Maintain oversight of the Receiving, Warehousing, and Shipping areas
Oversee plasma receiving and scheduling activities, plasma batch retrieval, plasma lot assembly and delivery
Accountable for a major cold storage logistics operation
Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and introduce proposals/plans for improvements
Establish departmental performance objectives and metrics
Manage and develop departmental budgets

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, business administration, engineering, or a related field
APICS certifications such as Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) preferred
Minimum of 5 years of related experience
Project or technical leadership experience required
Supervisory or management experience preferred
Working knowledge of manufacturing and system processes
Inventory controls
Strong knowledge of cGMP's and other regulatory requirements
Leadership and independent decision making capabilities
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Ability to lead cross functional teams and adapt to changing priorities
