Develop and maintain global planning and logistics policies and procedures.
Provide analytical support for demand planning, S&OP processes, production scheduling, procurement, and capacity planning/utilization.
Leverage models and tools to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
Evaluate and validate global requirements for potential contract manufacturers and external warehouses.
Support contract renewals and onboarding processes to ensure alignment with operational needs.
Serve as global champion and facilitator and implementation support of key technologies such as Blue Yonder (demand planning/scheduling), Dynamics 365 ERP, and S&OP systems to improve process consistency and performance.
Identify and develop GPS/Lean opportunities in warehousing, transportation, and planning/scheduling to enhance global supply chain efficiency.
Maintain centralized reporting and data for planning, logistics, and warehousing globally by partnering with information management to build/maintain models used for analytics.
Support the Global Sustainability initiative by tracking sustainability related metrics, identifying improvement areas, and collaborating with 3rd-party logistics providers and regional teams to implement sustainable transportation practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management or related.
5-8 years’ experience in Global Planning/Logistics function with emphasis on Global Supply Chain process and tools, negotiation skills, building of collaborative relationships and team building capabilities.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret operational data, develop models, and track key performance metrics.
Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with global teams.
Must be able to travel internationally up to 15%.
What will set you apart: Master’s Degree in Operations or Supply Chain Management or an MBA.
Supply Chain certifications (e.g., APICS or ISM certification such as CSCP, CPIM, and or CPSM) are desirable.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification or equivalent.
Experience with Blue Yonder Demand Planning and Scheduling system or equivalent.
