Execute a comprehensive global supply chain strategy, integrating procurement, logistics, and manufacturing to enable scalable growth and operational excellence.
Establish and operationalize local procurement frameworks to support compliance with country-specific local content mandates, government regulations, and industry standards.
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing supply chain team, setting clear goals, providing coaching and development, and ensuring delivery of operational and strategic objectives.
Build and manage local supplier networks, negotiate contracts, and develop sourcing plans that balance compliance, cost-efficiency, and technical quality.
Collaborate with legal, compliance, and government affairs teams to ensure all local procurement activities meet regulatory and contractual obligations.
Oversee global logistics and international trade operations, including customs, warehousing, and freight, while integrating local logistics providers where applicable.
Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and R&D to align supply chain activities with product design, innovation cycles, and operational targets.
Lead cross-functional project teams to implement supply chain reorganization, ERP/SAP integrations, and cost-reduction initiatives.
Monitor supply chain performance through KPIs and data analytics to continuously optimize cost, lead time, risk, and sustainability.
Act as a strategic advisor and change leader, supporting executive decision-making and long-term operational planning.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
8–12+ years of progressive experience in supply chain leadership roles, with a strong track record in global and local procurement.
Proven experience leading and developing teams, ideally in global or matrixed supply chain organizations.
Demonstrated ability to set up local procurement infrastructures and adapt supply chain operations to meet local content requirements in regulated markets.
Background in high-tech, engineering-intensive industries such as aerospace, semiconductors, medical devices, or advanced manufacturing.
Strong project management capabilities; experience in leading complex, multi-site initiatives.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain analytics platforms.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, contract negotiation, and vendor management skills.
Strong interpersonal communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Certifications: APICS CPIM/CSCP, PMP, Six Sigma, or equivalent (beneficial).
Experience working in regulated environments with local manufacturing content requirements (beneficial).
Familiarity with digital supply chain tools, supplier performance platforms, and sustainability-focused sourcing strategies (beneficial).
