Account Executive

• Set the daily tone and pace for account work — prioritizing objectives, delegating to team members, and holding quality standards across all client deliverables.
• Staff accounts appropriately, working with VP/SVP to align workload with team capacity and scope of work.
• Own projects from start to finish, working independently of VP/SVP oversight where appropriate.
• Serve as a clear, direct communicator across the team — keeping all members aligned, collaborative, and accountable.
• Lead high-impact media outreach and own media strategy for assigned accounts, handling the most complex media work while delegating according to team skills and abilities.
• Mentor and develop junior staff in a constructive, positive way. Be the person team members turn to for guidance, career counsel, and honest feedback.
• Act as the senior day-to-day point of contact for clients — fielding inquiries, offering strategic counsel, and maintaining strong relationships.
• Oversee final review and delivery of press releases, blog posts, media pitches, and social media content. Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, media monitoring and outreach, content drafting and client intelligence — and actively develop your fluency with AI as part of the role.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency across productivity and collaboration tools.
• Contribute to firm culture — generating ideas for training, leading sessions, and representing the firm at client and industry events.
• Play an active role in Gregory's marketing and new business efforts.

Account Director

• Lead and manage client accounts independently, setting daily priorities and aligning team activities to meet client expectations and quality standards
• Direct media strategy at a senior level, taking on high-impact assignments while delegating effectively to team members based on skill
• Develop, mentor, and manage junior staff; conduct performance reviews and support career growth
• Write and oversee strategic press releases, blog posts, media queries, and social media content
• Serve as the senior day-to-day client contact, fielding inquiries and delivering quality service
• Contribute to new business development, including leading sales discussions
• Champion firm initiatives — participate in Gregory marketing, lead or contribute to staff training, and share industry insights with the team

Associate Vice President

• Proactively search for story opportunities and industry trends, and place stories in the media across multiple client accounts
• Conduct media outreach, focusing on higher-value media targets and directing junior staff
• Write press releases, blog posts, media queries, bylines and social media posts
• Edit and align content with the strategic messaging of each campaign
• Meet all compliance requirements
• Brief clients on anticipated topics and themes of interviews and appearances
• Support team in onboarding new clients — implementing scope of work, creating a messaging matrix and identifying short- and long-term campaign goals
• Actively engage and communicate with clients via email, phone, video conference and in-person, taking an increasingly senior role in addressing client concerns and recalibrating expectations
• Attend, participate in and lead client calls and briefings as specified by team lead
• Provide strategic input, analysis and feedback in addition to updates and statuses
• Create, review and edit Google Docs and spreadsheets — client reports, agendas and similar materials — to ensure the strategic direction of campaigns and adjust as needed
• Stay current on issues, processes, terms, products and regulations specific to clients' industries by reading and subscribing to relevant media, blogs and social feeds
