About the role
- Assist with contractual and statutory compliance for a portfolio of O&M contracts
- Help maximise production from client assets while ensuring financial and safety performance targets are met
- Contact occasional site visits and engage with customers as part of cross-functional teams to improve service delivery
- Ensure photovoltaic power plants meet SLA and operational level agreements
- Review and liaise on SLAs with legal to recommend favourable terms
- Review service activity reports and prepare reports according to SLA requirements
- Perform/review availability and PR calculations and undertake monitoring activities including weekend on-call rota
- Monitor critical accounts and resolve problems; manage daily activities and resolve outstanding site issues
- Work closely with field services to ensure contractual compliance including health and safety
- Escalate product defects to manufacturers and assist with budgets, payment orders and invoicing
- Aid in customer problem resolution on product issues and invoice disputes; provide sales assistance and prepare quotations for additional services
- Regular reporting and updating of internal KPIs
- Other duties commensurate with the role
Requirements
- Highly organized, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent problem solving, and ability to critically think and take appropriate decisions
- Strong computer and networking skills including the ability to work with Word, Excel and various other MS Suite applications
- Ideally 1-2 years in a Solar O&M role but any O&M in any industry will be an advantage
- A degree or college equivalent in a relevant technical discipline such as electrical/ electronic/ communications/ civil/ mechanical/computers etc.
- Additional diplomas in a business related discipline or other postgraduate degrees will be an advantage
- Demonstrable understanding of Legal and finance concepts is highly desirable
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with demanding clients
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotas
