Support coordination of interrelating activities of trade partners, suppliers, vendors, customers, design, and engineering efforts
Provide organizational, leadership, communication, management, and problem-solving on project(s)
Monitor and report on financial status of project(s); subcontract and contract administration
Develop and maintain job progress schedules to align construction with schedule
Purchase and monitor delivery of materials ensuring price, quality, and conformance to specifications
Negotiate contracts with trade partners and vendors; eliminate scope gap and limit project risk
Review and approve trade partner and vendor payment requests and evaluate change order requests
Work with design and engineering teams to ensure projects meet operating guidelines and technical requirements
Prepare and present project reports (monthly red files, progress analysis/schedules, billings, status reports)
Organize and maintain job files and review shop drawings and submittals for scope compliance
May perform estimating and proposal preparation efforts
Communicate, implement, and enforce Gray’s safety and quality programs on site
Support team leadership and collaborate across multiple teams on the project
Supervise project support team members and subcontractors
Requirements
Minimum of six years of experience in construction management
Technical knowledge and experience supporting projects in a Project Manager I role or equivalent, and/or completion of at least two projects in a Project Manager I role or equivalent
Preference for bachelor’s degree in a related field (Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture)
Possesses advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office, mobile devices, and innovative programs/software provided by Gray
Energetic, self-motivated individual who enjoys a team environment with a passion for collaboration and professional development
Willingness to travel
Ability to supervise project support team members and subcontractors
