About the role
- Will function as the overall Site Manager during off rotation for the Site Manager.
- Assist in developing scopes of work for review and approval.
- Assist in the development and management of project schedule.
- Prepare estimates in areas of self-performed work and assist in complete project estimate.
- Responsible for multiple divisions of work, all aspects of the means and method of construction.
- Solicit prices from subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers for review and approval.
- Assist in selection of qualified bidders, negotiate final prices, draft subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Review all drawings, i.e. shop, architectural, structural, etc. when they are issued to the field and coordinate and maintain a current set at all times.
- Studies specifications to plan procedures for construction on basis of starting and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction.
- Implements procedures and assists in identifying staffing needs.
- Serve as on-site safety when one is not specifically assigned to the project, able to stop work and discipline team members.
Requirements
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs, and occasionally lift or move up to 100 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities include accurate near and distant vision.
- While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions.
- The team member is occasionally exposed to high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold and/or heat, risk of electrical shock, explosives, and vibration.
