Act as the technical lead on projects, applying advanced engineering concepts to develop process systems for food and beverage applications.
Execute the full scope of project work, including design, budgeting, implementation, procurement, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of processing systems.
Collaborate with project managers, clients, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met. Lead discussions and planning sessions with stakeholders.
Engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance engineering quality and project deliverables. Lead knowledge-sharing groups and best practice initiatives.
Take a lead role in on-site support and commissioning activities, including planning and facilitating complex commissioning processes.
Contribute to business development by providing technical input during sales calls, customer meetings, and proposal development.
Develop detailed technical documentation, including equipment lists, flow diagrams, process narratives, and project reports.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on process systems.
Significant experience in detailed process design for food and beverage processing lines, with a proven ability to lead projects.
Strong experience with MS Outlook, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, and AutoCAD.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal teams and customers.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is expected.
Travel required for site audits, installations, and customer meetings, varying based on project needs.
Regular use of hands, standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Exposure to variable conditions during site visits.
