About the role

  • Manage drilling, fastening, jigs & tools and measurement activities to secure the industrialization of technologies and the implementation of robust processes.
  • Represent the Assembly Technology domain in front of operational domains (quality, operations, logistics, …), engineering and procurement in a manufacturing plant.
  • Specify industrial jigs, tools and machinery for the industrial evolution.
  • Define and prepare specification for Jigs & Toolings related to assembly of parts and components.
  • Analyze the technical capability of suppliers.
  • Develop local solutions based on customer needs and airbus standards.
  • Align local assembly strategy with the central technology strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree level in Manufacturing Engineering or similar
  • Knowledge in specifying tools & machinery
  • 8 years of experience in a related role
  • Domestic and International English: Fluent (spoken & written)
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders at different levels on technical and business matters
  • Citizenship: Authorized to work in the US
