About the role
- Participate in a 4-week paid training program to learn essential selling skills.
- Serve as primary liaison between Grainger and Government customer accounts nationwide.
- Expand customer relationships, uncover needs and buying motives, identify solutions, and add value for profitable sales growth.
- Identify sales opportunities, negotiate to secure business, and sell the value of Grainger.
- Develop strategic account plans and manage resource investments.
- Review, understand and apply complex information; navigate organizations with multiple decision makers and partners.
- Communicate pricing offers, programs and broad product/service offerings.
- Grow market share and achieve financial plans within assigned territory.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent 3+ years of sales and business or similar work experience
- Negotiation knowledge
- Mindset that expresses growth
