About the role
- Provide technical support for laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals, and connectivity issues.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software incidents affecting end users.
- Support and troubleshoot meeting rooms and videoconferencing systems.
- Ensure business continuity by resolving critical incidents within established SLAs.
- Perform periodic checks on IT infrastructure including racks, UPS, switches, routers, and gateways.
- Monitor telecommunications rooms and network connections for operational health.
- Coordinate scheduled maintenance and preventive tasks with infrastructure teams.
- Ensure compliance with internal IT standards and procedures.
- Open tickets immediately for incidents affecting critical services (power, internet, telephony, printing).
- Track incidents from creation to closure while maintaining communication with stakeholders.
- Document daily activities and resolutions in the service management system.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports in English covering incidents, activities, and performance.
- Support logistics technology devices including handheld scanners, barcode scanners, and label printers.
- Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working in warehouse environments.
- Coordinate technical support activities with warehouse and logistics teams to minimize disruption.
- Ensure incident response and resolution align with defined priority levels (Critical, High, Medium, Low).
- Monitor service performance against KPIs and SLA targets.
- Support internal reviews, audits, and service evaluations.
- Participate in after-hours maintenance activities when required.
- Support IT migrations, infrastructure updates, relocations, and technology implementations.
- Contribute to maintaining continuous operation of IT services.
Requirements
- Degree or technical certification in IT, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
- Previous experience in IT support, infrastructure support, or service desk roles.
- Experience providing on-site corporate end‑user support.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure and data center environments is preferred.
- Hardware troubleshooting (PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals)
- Network fundamentals (switches, routers, connectivity)
- Videoconferencing and meeting room systems
- IT ticketing systems and incident management
- Basic knowledge of data center infrastructure (UPS, racks, network devices)
