About the role
- Assess learners in the workplace against recognised SQA standards for: Digital Applications SCQF 6, IT Support SCQF 6 & 8.
- Manage own caseload of learners and employers across Scotland.
- Support and mentor learners to build their technical skills and competencies.
- Set individual targets aligned with learner capability and qualification timelines.
- Monitor progress, identify challenges, and support learners to achieve their qualifications.
- Maintain accurate candidate records in line with SQA and SDS requirements.
- Use e-portfolio system to track learner progress and carry out remote assessments.
- Attend standardisation meetings, maintain CPD, and follow centre policies and procedures.
- Carry out regular contact and on-site visits with learners and employers.
- Travel to customer premises as required.
