About the role
- Reporting to the Executive Director, ALA Implementation and Transformation
- Responsible for leading the implementation for Assisted Living Alberta (ALA)
- Overseeing the transitions from existing models to a modern, client-centered, community-based system of care
- Directing the transition from legacy service delivery approaches to new models, minimizing disruption to client care
- Establishing operational frameworks, policies, and procedures to support a new and evolving agency
- Leading change management strategies to support workforce and stakeholder adoption
- Developing and overseeing outcomes measurement frameworks to assess service effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
- Establishing quality assurance processes, risk management strategies, and internal controls to ensure compliance, safety, and high-quality services
Requirements
- A university degree in a related field, such as health administration, public administration, social services, and business
- Six (6) years progressively responsible leadership experience in health, continuing care, social services, or other related sectors
- Experience leading system transformation initiatives
- Leadership experience, including developing policy, procedures, and program implementation
- Experience managing complex relationships across sectors
- Experience with performance measurement, quality improvement, and risk management
- Experience leading teams
