About the role

  • Reporting to the Executive Director, ALA Implementation and Transformation
  • Responsible for leading the implementation for Assisted Living Alberta (ALA)
  • Overseeing the transitions from existing models to a modern, client-centered, community-based system of care
  • Directing the transition from legacy service delivery approaches to new models, minimizing disruption to client care
  • Establishing operational frameworks, policies, and procedures to support a new and evolving agency
  • Leading change management strategies to support workforce and stakeholder adoption
  • Developing and overseeing outcomes measurement frameworks to assess service effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
  • Establishing quality assurance processes, risk management strategies, and internal controls to ensure compliance, safety, and high-quality services

Requirements

  • A university degree in a related field, such as health administration, public administration, social services, and business
  • Six (6) years progressively responsible leadership experience in health, continuing care, social services, or other related sectors
  • Experience leading system transformation initiatives
  • Leadership experience, including developing policy, procedures, and program implementation
  • Experience managing complex relationships across sectors
  • Experience with performance measurement, quality improvement, and risk management
  • Experience leading teams
