About the role
- Provides strategic leadership and executive oversight for integrated delivery of social programs and Government of Alberta services
- Directs operational excellence across service delivery streams including contact centres and health benefit administration
- Plays a key strategic leadership role ensuring compliance with legislative frameworks
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives enhancing client experience and operational efficiency
- Champions the common service delivery approach and identifies opportunities to advance branch mandates
Requirements
- Considerable senior management experience in public sector or complex business environment
- Deep experience in financial and human resource planning, accountability, and outcome measurement
- Understanding of citizen-centered service delivery models
- Demonstrated experience in business process re-engineering and change management
- Knowledge of government decision making and strategic directions
- Familiarity with social programs and program delivery is an asset
- A related degree is preferred
