About the role

  • Coordinate and manage Cabinet Policy Committee meetings, agendas, and attendance.
  • Review, edit, and prepare committee documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure timely distribution of meeting packages and maintain secure document systems (DMX).
  • Liaise with Ministers’ offices to track attendance and resolve scheduling challenges.
  • Provide executive support to the Assistant Deputy Minister and policy team, including scheduling, procurement, and onboarding.
  • Contribute to cross-government collaboration and special projects.

Requirements

  • Diploma in a related field (minimum 2 years) and 5+ years of progressively responsible experience, or High school diploma and 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with document management systems and MS Office tools.
  • Secretariat experience and familiarity with government processes
