- Oversees activities involving strategy and proactive policy analysis
- Provides strategic advice to Senior Officials and elected officials
- Guides the achievement of objectives related to ministry goals
- Builds relationships and key alliances with other governments and stakeholders
- Supports a collaborative and integrated approach to achieving government goals.
Requirements
- Senior leadership with extensive experience in policy development and legislative environments
- Skilled in developing evidence-based policy recommendations
- Proven ability to navigate complex challenges
- Comprehensive understanding of citizen-centred policy models
- Familiarity with Government of Alberta decision-making processes
- Exceptional communication skills.
