About the role
- Create integrated project plans for contract deliverables and new products in development projects
- Manage a project team comprised of a multidisciplinary staff
- Review, manage and control status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports
- Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
- Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with team members and line managers
- Manage the direction of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives
- Define requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment
- Supervise professional and technical support personnel performing in their regular disciplines
- Schedule tasks and coordinate with various team members to accomplish results
- Manage integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables
- Conduct project meetings and responsible for project tracking, analysis and reporting
- Generally reports to a Program Manager
Requirements
- Bachelor's with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)
- Clearance Required
- Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams
- Experience creating integrated project plans and managing budgets
- Ability to manage schedules, prepare status reports, and track project deliverables
- Experience supervising professional and technical personnel
- Experience integrating vendor tasks and reviewing vendor deliverables
- Experience conducting project meetings and project tracking, analysis and reporting
