About the role
- Develop pricing proposals and narratives for new business, change proposals, and task orders across various contract types (Fixed Price, Cost Type, T&M, IDIQ). Prepare responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs in collaboration with senior pricing staff. Conduct financial analyses such as profitability models, risk assessments, and scenario planning to inform pricing strategy. Review RFP requirements and contribute to pricing compliance and strategy discussions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and ensure accurate cost estimates. Present pricing models and analysis summaries to internal stakeholders and management. Contribute to maintaining and improving cost estimation tools and procedures. Apply working knowledge of FAR/DFAR and other relevant regulations to ensure proposal compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, or commensurate experience. 2+ years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or proposal development within the Federal Government services market. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially advanced Excel functions. Experience supporting bids for various contract types (FP, T&M, CR). Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced environment.
