About the role
- Lead market research projects to size opportunities, assess customer needs, and map the competitive landscape.
- Translate insights into clear recommendations that shape product direction, roadmap priorities, and GTM focus.
- Define and validate ICPs and buyer personas using structured interviews and data-driven analysis.
- Test and validate value propositions through customer discovery, win/loss insights, and competitor analysis.
- Create product positioning and messaging for enterprise buyers and international markets.
- Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing and RevOps to design repeatable GTM playbooks for launches and expansions.
- Coordinate and drive launch execution across functions (content, enablement, product readiness, sales readiness).
- Establish success metrics and dashboards to track GTM performance and drive iteration.
- Build strong working relationships with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to gather market intelligence.
- Synthesize insights into actionable guidance for product teams and commercial teams.
- Shape narratives that resonate with C-level buyers and support Gorilla’s thought leadership—primarily through content, enablement, and customer proof points.
- Represent the “voice of the market” internally by proactively surfacing patterns, risks, and opportunities.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years in B2B SaaS product marketing (or adjacent roles with strong positioning + GTM ownership).
- Proven track record delivering messaging frameworks and GTM programs for complex products.
- Experience supporting launches in new countries/regions.
- Experience working with enterprise sales motions and multi-stakeholder buying groups.
- Strong analytical skills, able to translate data and customer feedback into strategic decisions.
- Hands-on experience with market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to influence product and commercial stakeholders through research and structured thinking.
- Energy or data/analytics background is a plus (but not required).
