Responsible for the sale of GONETSPEED products and services including Fiber Internet, Home Phone and DTV Streaming to residential customers
Door-to-door canvassing contacting 25+ new customers daily as fiber optics service expands into new areas
Engage and acquire new customers and close sales opportunities through door-to-door sales
Identify and target potential customers within designated towns/cities and develop rapport to understand needs and preferences
Continuously maintain detailed knowledge of features, benefits, product differences, pricing, and campaigns versus competition
Evaluate individual customers' existing and potential product needs and make recommendations
Maintain sales production to meet or exceed individual quotas and monthly goals
Represent the company at community events in targeted markets
Work effectively and efficiently in assigned turf area to achieve targets
Requirements
Experience in direct sales, preferably in door-to-door sales is nice to have, but not necessary
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships
Must be able to work outside in any weather environment
Must be available to work between the hours of 10AM-7PM, equaling 40 hours per week
Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently and excellent attendance a must
Valid Driver’s license and personal vehicle a must (local travel to prospecting locations in your own vehicle)
Familiarity with the telecommunications or broadband industry and competitive landscape is a plus
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong in-person communication skills for face-to-face cold selling
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments and manage projects effectively
Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand
Physical requirements: read computer screens and various reports; hear well enough to communicate; write, type, and use phone system; frequent standing, walking, stair climbing; occasional stooping, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing
Benefits
$5,000 Signing-Performance Bonus for achieving targets in first 120 days
Base Salary: $35,000 plus uncapped commission
