About the role
- Own and manage the team backlog
- Define, refine, prioritize, and sequence the backlog
- Translate high-level product requirements into detailed user stories
- Ensure the engineering team has well-defined and prioritized work for upcoming sprints
- Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
- Serve as the primary contact for the engineering and QA teams
- Formally inspect, test, and accept completed user stories
- Monitor and communicate progress to stakeholders
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience
- at least 2 years as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in a software development environment
- proven experience working within an Agile/Scrum team environment
- experience in managing software backlogs using tools like Jira, or similar
- familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) processes, workflows, and challenges
- strong ability to write clear, unambiguous, and testable user stories and acceptance criteria
