About the role

  • Manage the entire product lifecycle from initial concept through development, launch, and end-of-life
  • Responsible for managing budgets, acquiring estimates, and handling requests for funding through the capital process
  • Translate and document customer and technical requirements into final product designs
  • Prepare and present comprehensive business cases; provide detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Perform in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and addressable revenue potential
  • Create and maintain detailed product roadmaps, service guides, product documentation, results reports/analysis, and project plans
  • Define and drive initiatives to grow revenue and margin; scale the product across various channels
  • Partner with business, technology, UX teams, and 3rd party technology partners to design or modify products
  • Work with Global Connectivity Management, Technology Development, Contracting, Legal, Product Marketing, and Business or Consumer Pricing Team to develop pricing strategies
  • Negotiate with vendors to improve product cost structure, feature functionality, and product support
  • Drive operational excellence with partner organizations and deliver executive summaries of key business metrics and financials
  • Lead significant projects with strategic autonomy and mentor less experienced staff

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Certification is required in some areas
  • Must be able to work in office a minimum of 5 days per week in the posted location(s)
  • No relocation is offered
  • Experience managing product lifecycle from concept through end-of-life
  • Experience preparing business cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Experience conducting market research and competitive analysis
  • Experience developing and maintaining product roadmaps and project plans
  • Experience coordinating with design, manufacturing, test, quality, sales support, and marketing
  • Experience with budget management and capital funding requests
  • Experience working with Legal, Contracting, Product Marketing, Pricing, and technology partners
  • Vendor negotiation experience
