About the role
- Answer a high volume of incoming emails, calls, provide active listening to customer issues, and provide requested updated information.
- Schedule service appointments and dispatch the appropriate service professionals to job sites efficiently.
- Maintain organized customer files, record service requests, and manage billing and invoicing information.
- Constantly communicate with customers, mobile crews to relay work orders, messages, and updates.
- Address customer questions, resolve issues as they arise, and handle unexpected problems that impact service delivery.
- Accurate, and continuous efforts towards streamlining routes of your respective crews.
- Maintaining and constant updating of customer portals, or direct communication lines as needed.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and field staff.
- A pleasant phone demeanor, and willingness to maintain direct lines of communication are essential.
- Must be comfortable using computers, phones, and other office equipment, including specialized dispatch software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain detailed records, and stay organized is crucial for coordinating operations effectively.
- Must be able to think critically and solve problems quickly, especially under pressure.
- The role requires the ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with standard office software, and industry relevant Dispatch interfaces.
