Director

• Research and develop new projects from concept through production in categories such as Material Handling, Storage & Shelving, Safety, Janitorial & Sanitation, Furniture and Plumbing.
• Work with various team members/departments to apply product and market knowledge to identify, plan, attack, and achieve strategic goals to accelerate and expand our Private Brand offering.
• Present cost saving opportunities and product plans to multiple departments throughout the organization.
• Leverages experience, knowledge and leadership ability to manage a team in all details (branding/packaging/quality/regulatory & safety/intellectual property) of multiple and higher complexity projects and ensure completion within the given timeframe from start to finish.
• Identify low cost, high quality production solutions, with emphasis on worldwide manufacturing and international and domestic sourcing.
• Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors and factories to expedite and improve manufacturing processes.
• Handle daily communication with staff worldwide and work with multiple departments on different initiatives and goals.
• Effectively supervise and develop 3-5 direct report Project Engineers, Managers, Leads and Associates.

Senior Director, Private Brand Product Development

• Responsible for management of complete health/safety/environmental program in Buford, GA
• Work with HR and Legal to oversee Workers Compensation cases for the company
• Manage, promote and drive the Behavior Based Safety Program (observations, near miss, Root cause corrective action, training and mentorship)
• Oversee management of safety programs for Buford and multiple remote sites (sites TBD)
• Investigate and resolve compliance issues, safety risks, and improvement opportunities through audits, investigations root cause corrective actions and proactive risk analysis
• Develop programs and policies to reduce risk, work with operations to implement improvements
• Oversee programs to ensure compliance with Global Industrial policies and Local, State, OSHA, EPA and DOT environmental, health and safety regulations
• Manage site safety/workers comp metrics and reporting, back up for corporate safety metrics
• Perform specific safety training as required
• Manage site universal/hazard waste program
• Conduct train the trainer courses and participate in training as required
• Conducts job hazard analysis and risk assessments related to facilities and equipment
• Responsible for recommending appropriate risk mitigation measures to management
• Responsible for performing other duties as assigned

• Create end user demand for MRO products and services via the phone
• Manage a new or existing territory and grow categorical sales

• Complete a high volume of outbound calls resulting in increased sales and customer engagement
• Assist customers with finding solutions that help them achieve goals and added value
• Possess great communication skills with adaptability to changing customer and business needs
• Develop and manage your sales plan by setting goals and objectives

• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and CRM Software

Public Sector Account Manager

Compliance

• Draft, revise and negotiate contracts with Global Industrial’s vendors and customers (commercial and government)
• Manage a portfolio of contracts with Global Industrial’s customers (commercial and government), including but not limited to pricing/rebate agreements, master purchase agreements, NDAs, purchase orders, and other agreements
• Review, analyze, and respond to complex Requests for Information for both government and commercial bids
• Manage existing contract systems and processes; enter contracts into the contracts database, perform periodic audits and ensure data quality and integrity of systems
• Enforce Global Industrial’s contract review and management policies
• Support compliance with contractual insurance requirements, including reviewing and maintaining certificates of insurance (COIs), coordinating updates with customers and vendors, and tracking compliance with insurance obligations
• Review requests to modify contracts, while working with internal business partners to negotiate terms and obtain approvals for modifications as required, always balancing the risks and Global Industrial’s needs
• Be a champion for a better, faster and simpler way of doing things
• Act as positive ambassador for Legal within the organization, which requires in-office presence as an essential function of the job
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
