About the role

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and business strategies
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather relevant information for demand planning
  • Conduct regular analysis of forecast accuracy and adjust strategies as needed
  • Coordinate with US supply site to ensure availability of supplies to support demand
  • Monitor inventory levels and production schedules to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory
  • Identify potential supply chain risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, customer service and logistics
  • Provide regular updates on demand and supply trends, potential issues, and recommendations for improvement
  • Utilize statistical modeling and analysis tools to enhance forecasting accuracy
  • Analyze historical sales data and market trends to identify patterns and potential opportunities
  • Identify areas for process improvement within the demand and supply planning functions

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply and demand planning with exposure to leading S&OP cycles
  • Experienced in forecasting and measurement of forecast accuracy
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Previous experience in a supply chain role supporting multiple stakeholders
  • Basic knowledge of SAP and JDA systems
  • Advance knowledge in Excel and Microsoft office
