About the role
- Responsible for managing the day to day Used Serviceable Material business and its performance
- Supports GKN’s scrap replacement and USM sales programs
- Manages all activities with regards to GKN’s USM partner(s)
- Develops new customers/sales opportunities
- Coordinates technical interfaces when customers and supplier require technical service
- Determines a USM forecast of the customers’ product sales volume
- Performs a market search for new/used part inventory for sale/replacement on customer orders
- Collaborates with the global sales team to promote USM scrap replacement/sales
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or additional 5+ years of Used Serviceable Material experience required
- 5+ years of sales/marketing/commercial experience directly related to the buying, selling, and trading of USM
- Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations and/or program requirements
