About the role

  • Responsible for Human Resources related duties including talent acquisition for exempt and nonexempt positions, new hire onboarding, employee relations, training, policy administration, HRIS, and employee communication
  • Oversees exempt and nonexempt hiring process for Eden's distribution facility
  • Manages the consistent administration of human resources policies and practices
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with leadership and employees to coordinate human resources actions, communicate information and address any employee issues
  • Conducts investigations to effectively resolve employee grievances
  • Facilitates training, including new hire orientation, with employees
  • Maintains data integrity in personnel files and HRIS system
  • Coordinates programs and events such as employee recognition and employee appreciation
  • Ensures that employee records are accurate, complete and legally compliant
  • Supports goals and objectives of the HR Department on a corporate, regional and local level
  • Assists with corporate reporting needs
  • Maintains confidentiality, integrity, and ethical standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree
  • 3-5 years of HR related experience, including exempt recruiting in a similar environment (distribution, warehouse, or manufacturing)
  • Able to travel 25% of time
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in utilizing and maintaining a full functional integrated HRIS system (Oracle platform preferred)
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-starter and able to work independently
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility to changing work priorities
  • Very strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Hearing is required in order to hear instructions, receive information from various sources, and understand safety warnings
  • Vision is required in order to read instructions, interpret data, and formulate metrics
