Responsible for Human Resources related duties including talent acquisition for exempt and nonexempt positions, new hire onboarding, employee relations, training, policy administration, HRIS, and employee communication
Oversees exempt and nonexempt hiring process for Eden's distribution facility
Manages the consistent administration of human resources policies and practices
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with leadership and employees to coordinate human resources actions, communicate information and address any employee issues
Conducts investigations to effectively resolve employee grievances
Facilitates training, including new hire orientation, with employees
Maintains data integrity in personnel files and HRIS system
Coordinates programs and events such as employee recognition and employee appreciation
Ensures that employee records are accurate, complete and legally compliant
Supports goals and objectives of the HR Department on a corporate, regional and local level
Assists with corporate reporting needs
Maintains confidentiality, integrity, and ethical standards
Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs
Requirements
Bachelors degree
3-5 years of HR related experience, including exempt recruiting in a similar environment (distribution, warehouse, or manufacturing)
Able to travel 25% of time
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Experience in utilizing and maintaining a full functional integrated HRIS system (Oracle platform preferred)
Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Self-starter and able to work independently
Ability to work in a team-based environment
Ability to demonstrate flexibility to changing work priorities
Very strong attention to detail and organizational skills
